Worship & Resist - Walk On Water

faith inspiration Aug 03, 2024

I know you are tired, but it's time for some W.O.W.!

The battle between darkness and light has never raged more blatantly in our day...the assassination attempt of a president, witches worldwide pacting to bind Trump with magical spells (tonight at 10:10 pm), and the "Woke-Lympics" (Even viewing the Olympics is not safe for your children anymore!), to name a few.

And it's likely to get worse, as there are rumblings of possible blackouts, coordinated terrorist cell uprisings, another assassination attempt, another virus, and food supply disruptions as the dark side is desperate to throw everything out in one last attempt to hijack our God-given freedoms and this Land of Liberty.

As I sought the Lord on what to send out to you today, the above painting by Kristine Monaghan came to mind.

In the midst of the storm all around us, we must keep our eyes on Jesus, trust in Him, walk forward and encourage our families to do the same.

It's time for W.O.W.

Walking. On. Water.

I heard ministry leader Joseph Z call this time we are about to endure a "redemptive instability". The darkness is no longer in hiding. The shaking is bringing exposure to wickedness and God's power and glory is about to be revealed.

"May we not be shaken in the shaking," said Ohio Pastor Tim Sheets.

I heard podcaster Julie Green say this:

We are in a spiritual WAR.

When we W.A.R. (Worship And Resist)

the W.A.R. (Wicked Are Restricted).

Psalm 9:1-2,7-10,16

I will praise you, O Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonders. I will be glad and rejoice in you; I will sing praise to your name, O Most High.

The Lord reigns forever; he has established his throne for judgment. He will judge the world in righteousness; he will govern the peoples with justice.

The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. Those who know your name will trust in you, for you, Lord have never forsaken those who seek you.

The Lord is known by his justice; the wicked are ensnared by the work of their hands.

Amen.

Let's think of Israel's most terrifying moment, backed up against the Red Sea with nowhere to turn. That turned into their biggest victory. Everything changed in a day.

And victories don't happen unless there is a battle. (Bummer, right?)

Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior had the victory 2,000 years ago, and because of that, in battles between darkness and light, Christians don't pray for victory. We pray from victory.

The important thing to do is

  • PRAY  (One good place to start today is pray for God to send his angel armies to protect Trump this evening as witches seek to hex him)
  • W.A.R. - Worship and Resist
  • W.O.W. - Keep your eyes on Jesus instead of focusing on the turbulent "waves" all around you.

Brenna, this is all vitally important for such a time as this.

So rise up...Pray! Worship! Resist darkness! Eyes on Jesus!

You are the heart of the home. You set the tone and pace.

I know it's not easy, but know that I am praying for you. You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. (Phil. 4:13)

So...

Walk. On. Water.
