My First Ever Vote Rant

Have you voted yet?

I've been disheartened this critical election season to hear many Christians say they plan to sit this one out. 

“Get everyone you know, and everyone you don't know, drag them to register to vote,” Elon Musk said at an October 2024 Butler, PA Rally. “If they don’t, this will be the last election. That’s my prediction.” 

If you can't vote for someone, at least vote against another. 

A choice not to vote is a vote for the opposing side.

Can you imagine sitting this out and seeing your children grow up in a nation that continues to kill millions of more babies each year, allows men to compete against your daughters in women's sports, and whose churches have to go underground to gather for worship services?

What if you then had to admit to them that you didn't vote against it in the historical 2024 election, the election where everything hung in the balance?

No doubt, this is a battle between a good and evil agenda.

If you feel that is an exaggeration, maybe you missed seeing Kamala in a rally this month criticizing her opponent for trying to strip Roe vs. Wade "rights" from women? Someone shouted “Jesus is Lord!” and she in a split second replied, “Oh, I think you guys are at the wrong rally,” with a devilish grimace on her face. (Click here to see it for yourself.)

When I saw that video, all I could think was, "For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks." Luke 6:45 (NKJV) 

No doubt Kamala's PR person scrambled then to set her up the following Sunday to be in a church (to try and not lose every Christian vote)...then she had people thrown out of there, too! What utter contempt and disdain she has shown for Christians. 

When Kamala Harris was California Attorney General, David Daleiden unveiled some undercover videos revealing the brutal and inhumane practices of abortion and Planned Parenthood's cruel agenda. She seized the videos, ordered them be taken down and Daleiden to be arrested for daring to share the truth of the matter.

Not surprisingly, Kamala Harris' main presidential campaign agenda has been promoting abortion.

Maybe you are saying, I don't want to go on that boat, but I also don't want to go on the other boat...(and, therefore, sit this one out and just keep praying until God saves us or Jesus comes back to take us out of this mess)?

Don't be like the drowning man!

I'm sure you know the story: 

A fellow was stuck on his rooftop in a flood. He was praying to God for help.

Soon a man in a rowboat came by and the fellow shouted to the man on the roof, “Jump in, I can save you.”

The stranded fellow shouted back, “No, it’s OK, I’m praying to God and he is going to save me.”

So the rowboat went on.

Then a motorboat came by. “The fellow in the motorboat shouted, “Jump in, I can save you.”

To this the stranded man said, “No thanks, I’m praying to God and he is going to save me. I have faith.”

So the motorboat went on.

Then a helicopter came by and the pilot shouted down, “Grab this rope and I will lift you to safety.”

To this the stranded man again replied, “No thanks, I’m praying to God and he is going to save me. I have faith.”

So the helicopter reluctantly flew away.

Soon the water rose above the rooftop and the man drowned. He went to Heaven. He finally got his chance to discuss this whole situation with God, at which point he exclaimed, “I had faith in you but you didn’t save me, you let me drown. I don’t understand why!”

To this God replied, “I sent you a rowboat and a motorboat and a helicopter, what more did you expect?”

Listen, I know the "motorboat" might not look like what you expected --  the driver may offend you with his proud words about what a good driver he is and may name call some other drivers he feels are corrupt.

But if you are praying for God to save this nation, remember He works in this world through people, and he is known throughout history to use unlikely people to get the job done so that He gets all the glory.

As a matter of a fact, when does God ever do things the way we expect? 

...when worldly King Cyrus was used of God to free the Jews from Babylonian captivity and then created an edict that the Temple be rebuilt...was it because he was the godliest man in the land?

...when Jesus the King arrived on earth...was it with great fanfare?

...when tax collector Matthew was chosen to be a disciple...was it because he upheld all the Jewish laws so well?

"Get used to different", as Jesus said in the Chosen series. 

What unlikely men did God use to lead his people? Moses....Also, Paul (both murderers)? What about David, who said to a God mocker, "I’ll strike you down and cut off your head. This very day I will give the carcasses of the Philistine army to the birds and the wild animals" (I Samuel 17:46) (Wasn't his pride and brashness offensive???)

If you wonder whose side Donald Trump is on, you might ask yourself who is vehemently against him. 

Are you aware of witches who have gathered in person and online since 2017 for "bind Trump" wiccan rituals, which continue to be held monthly during the waning crescent moons?

Lastly, set your emotions aside and just look at the facts and how they compare to your values.

Then vote. Early if possible.

Lord, lead your children to take action. You've chosen to use people to do your work all throughout history. Imperfect people. And you are using us to bring leaders in who you've enabled to bring the needed reformation to our culture. Kingdom of God come! Will of God be done! In Jesus' Name, Amen.
